Every card collector has that list — the grails you’re always searching for. Whether it’s for the nostalgia, the rarity, or the love of the game, these are the cards that fuel the passion.

This is my current Top 10 Chase Card List, ranked in true countdown fashion. From iconic NBA rookies to AFL legends, these are the slabs I’m hunting for my personal collection (PC).

🔟 2014 Honours DPS (DSP4) – Marcus Bontempelli

Bont has become one of the modern faces of footy. His Draft Pick Signature card is a future-proof investment and personal favourite. Hard to find in strong condition.

 

9️⃣ 2001 Select AFL Authentic DPS – Alan Didak

A fan-favourite and underrated signature card. Clean layout, tough to grade, and a must-have for any Collingwood supporter’s PC.

 

8️⃣ 1981-82 Topps #4 – Larry Bird

A vintage gem. This early Bird card has a unique design and carries serious historical weight in the NBA hobby.

 

7️⃣ 1986 Star Best of the New/Old – Patrick Ewing

Underrated and often overlooked, this Star card bridges eras with Ewing front and centre. A great low-pop pickup if found in good shape.

 

6️⃣ 2020 Select Dominance DPS – Matthew Rowell

Still chasing the Rowell rookie signature – a clean auto and great design from a hyped draft class.

 

5️⃣ 2006 Select Supreme DPS (DP5) – Scott Pendlebury

One of the cleanest on-card autos in AFL’s modern history. Pendles is a Collingwood icon, and this card is a cornerstone for any Magpie PC.

 

4️⃣ 2022 Select Optimum – Nick Daicos Draft Pick Signature

Rookie card of the moment. Nick’s signature slab is already sought-after, and I’m locked in on securing one.

 

3️⃣ 2012 Select Eternity Brownlow Signature Redemption – Dane Swan

Swan’s Brownlow sig is elusive. Between the redemption status and overall rarity, this one’s near the top of my AFL wishlist.

 

2️⃣ 2024 AFL Supremacy Franchise Greats Dual Signature – Pendlebury & Buckley

Two Collingwood legends on one card, dual-signed. Doesn’t get much better for a black-and-white collector.

 

1️⃣ 1980-81 Topps Scoring Leaders – Bird / Erving / Magic

The crown jewel of this list. A triple Hall of Fame rookie card with history, flair, and collector prestige. This is the ultimate slab to lock in.
